Generating Data Transfer Id (or Company Passcode):

• What it is?: A Data Transfer Id (or Company Passcode) is required by the administrator to send reports using SmartConnectors, which can be requested right from your app.
  Note: If you are not the administrator (one who sends the reports to end users), you do not need to generate a Data Transfer Id.

• Why is it required?: A Data Transfer Id is mapped to the report sender (Administrators email address, Plant name, Location or server name) so that the end user can identify the sender when viewing reports on the app.

• How to generate?: Read Instruction

• Hint: It is advisable (but not mandatory) that separate Data Transfer Ids be generated & used while sending reports from multiple plants, locations or servers, since this allows the end user to filter reports by the sender. Read Instruction
